RIGGING - DROP TESTS
Rigging Home >> Drop TestsIn an effort to assure ourselves of the safety of our rope rescue systems CMRU has recently begun testing how the various components react when exposed to a shock load. To do this, we rig the individual component in the manner in which we use it, and then drop a heavy weight to shock load the component in way similar to that expected in a real-life worst-case scenario. Our testing began in July of 1997.
